Benefits:
Employees who have worked at least 40 hours are eligible for golf
benefits at Remuda Golf Course. Employees must
average at least 15
hours a week or over 475 hours a season to receive unlimited golf
rounds on
weekdays, $1 range buckets, $1 cart
rentals, 50% off food and beverage while working, 20% off golf shop
merchandise, special clubhouse rental rates, free staff hats,
review bonuses, and more as determined by management. Full
Time
employees, who work over 700 hours each season, may qualify for
additional benefits after 6 months of
continuous employment including health care benefits, free golf for
themselves and family members, yearly review bonuses and 401(k)
contributions.
Things you should understand before applying for a position:
(1) Positions in the golf industry are typically in high demand and we get many applications. Please fill out application completely and only if you meet the specific qualifications.
(2) Our job positions are SEASONAL. That means that there is only work for a limited amount of months during the year. Typically March through November, (although some housekeeping and groundskeeper positions last a little longer.) The best time to apply is early spring.
(3) The golf industry has irregular hours. Some job positions require applicants to begin work very early in the morning or stay late at night. Weekends and holidays are important as well. Applicants must be available Saturdays and Sundays for scheduled shifts as their position requires. Applicants must be prepared to work on at least five major holidays and must accept changes in work schedule and duties as necessary.
(4) The first 90 days of employment at Remuda is probationary. No time off will be granted the first 90 days of employment. Strict attendance and completion of responsibilities will be required for employment to be extended permanently.
(5) Applicants should review the skill demands and physical demands listed on specific job descriptions. Applicants will be required to sign a an agreement of employment and they will be required to sign a copy of the employee handbook verifying that they have read and understood the employment regulations and requirements.
(6) New employees will be required to supply proof of a valid Motor Vehicle operator's license and a valid U.S. social security number. Within three days of employment U.S. Citizens must complete a W-4 and 1-9 form, Non-U.S. citizens must produce valid Alien Registration Card, Current Passport with Employment authorization, and Valid J-1 or F-1 Visa.
