Friends, We are sad to announce the loss of our founder Jim Aland on Sept 8, 2019. He was the architect and force behind the creation of Remuda and Crane Field neighborhoods and golf courses. He spent a lifetime improving communities and building lasting amenities for Weber and Davis counties. Jim donated generously to his community. He established a foundation to support students and young people. He donated hundreds of acres of real estate to wildlife conservation, school sites, churches sites, city roads and parks. Jim was hands-on with the construction of the golf courses and was adamant they be protected by conservation easements to ensure they would be around to serve generations to come. He made his visions a reality and we will miss his keen mind and motivated spirit. Please help us keep his legacy of generosity and hard work alive. If you have ever played a round of golf at Remuda or Crane Field, pay it forward and donate to The James A. Aland and Marian Hart Aland Foundation. Even donating the change in your couch can add up and make a real difference in your community! The James A. and Marian Hart Aland Foundation is a Utah Non-Profit Corporation is recognized as a 501(3)(c) charity. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you.
